Conductor joint ventured with Pike Construction Services to build a new 276,000 SF multi-use facility for warehouse, administrative office, and visitor center operations for Li-Cycle. Project included the complete site development and ground-up construction of the state of the art facility.
Scope Highlights
The Pike Conductor team work in a design-assist role to build-to-suit to Li-Cycle’s specifications, with Bergmann as the Architect and Engineer of Record. Passero Associates provided Stormwater Management design and inspection services. LaBella Associates provided specialized environmental monitoring and permitting services per the specialized site requirements of the property.
The warehouse space was designed towards tenant specific racking and material handling requirements, including a specialty reinforced slab capable of handling tenant specific load requirements. Specialty fire sprinkler and detection systems were designed and installed in the warehouse due to tenant specific product requirements.
The site was designed with eco-friendly stormwater management systems, landscaping, and EV charging stations
The office space was designed and constructed to accommodate 100+ employees including both private offices and open works areas, multiple collaboration and conference rooms, break areas with kitchenettes, and documents control rooms.
Locker Rooms were constructed to accommodate all office and production warehouse employees, including individual clean and dirty lockers, showers, and toilet rooms for both men and women.
A 5,000 SF Laboratory was constructed in consideration for future fit-out based on client requirements.
A 4,100 SF Visitor Center was designed as flexible assembly space for special events, conferences, corporate meetings, and community outreach
